JP State Rep. Sánchez, Housing Authority, Bromley-Heath Tenant Organization, and Bromley-Heath Partners Group host Thanksgiving celebration for community members.

(BOSTON) – State Representative Jeffrey Sánchez, along with the Boston Housing Authority, the newly elected Bromley-Heath Tenant Organization, and Bromley Partners Group hosted the Bromley-Heath Resource Day and Thanksgiving Celebration on Friday, November 20th.

“Thanksgiving is a perfect time to come together as a community and learn more about the wealth of resources available to residents,” says Rep. Sánchez. “It was great to break bread with neighbors and havea great time.”

The event included food, music, raffles, and information about various community resources specific to the Bromley-Heath community, in addition to impromptu dance-offs and karaoke. The Bromley Partners Group, a co-host of the evening, is a coalition of different organizations that provides social services resources geared towards specific needs of the neighborhood.

The Bromley Heath Tenant Organization was recently elected in September 2015. The BTHO is comprised of members from the Bromley Heath Housing Development who are extremely passionate and adamant about truly being of service to their community. The Bromley Heath Tenant Organization will also offer the chance for community members to serve on various committees. These neighborhood committees will focus on Safety, Environment, Administration, Seniors, Family, and Youth.
