Workforce Training
Representative Sánchez views the workforce as a critical asset of the Commonwealth’s economic well-being and has continuously supported efforts to increase employment opportunities.
Workforce Training Grants
Committed to giving our businesses and employees the tools needed to succeed during these difficult economic times, Sánchez supported legislation, as part of the 2011 fiscal year budget debate, that provides $9.5 million in funding for workforce training grants to help companies across Massachusetts increase their productivity and grow their businesses.
The funding will be used to provide employers with grants aimed at educating and training existing members of the workforce and new hires.
